 PRESIDENT'S CORNER

Airshow was great success again this year. We have many people to thank for it going as well as it did. It is a venture that is not the result of one person's effort.

For those who were not there we honored two of our own, Ralph and Royce Woolever. There are pictures on the web site showing some of the things that went on.

Now we move on to other events for our group. We have the hangar dance September 11th and the Gahanna flea market the 19th. Anyone having items they wish to donate to sell, drop them off at the hangar or bring them to Gahanna. If you would like to help with the dance or flea market, let us know. The more the merrier.

People who have an e-mail address need to check web site for accuracy or from Jim Ridgway let us know what it is so we can add it to our list. Anyone who might be interested in being our treasurer let us know the post becomes vacant January 1. Malinda Rutherford has severed us well in that capacity for several years and wants to be relieved of the obligation. There will probably be another Texas hold-em poker tournament November 12th and 13th. Our Christmas dinner will be at the Best Western the 4th of December.

We would like to have suggestions for a speaker for it. We have a bigger room reserved with the anticipation of a larger crowd this year. We will continue to collect new unwrapped toys for the Marines toys for tot's drive they have every year.

We still have our other projects in the works. The C-45 restoration and the Willy's Jeep Ambulance. Again, anyone interested in helping let us know and we will try to get you involved.

Jim Ridgway
