THANKS
TO DEDICATED MEMBERS WE NOW HAVE A FORKLIFT
Harold
Carpenter arranged for a purchase of a forklift but it was
in pieces and parts. To most of us it looked like a lost
cause but to our dedicated team of workers they saw
possibilities. Harold Carpenter, Jim Baldwin, Tom Palmer and
Branson Rutherford set to work and after many hours of hard
work with their varied skills and tenacity the forklift was resurrected
from the junk pile to a fully functioning piece of equipment
for The Historical Aircraft Squadron.
Jim Baldwin, Harold Carpenter and James McNeal bought the
forklift for the squadron. The next time you see these
fellows let them know how much we appreciate their efforts
and support.
The
Historical Aircraft Squadron exists solely by efforts of a
few people. If we could get another dozen such dedicated
workers, we’d be able to dedicate our efforts and reach
our goals twice as fast.
If
you are one of those who could give a little more time on
our Wednesday or Saturday workdays, step up and let us know
and we’ll find a place where your skills can be put to
use. It makes no difference what your skills are or aren’t,
we need all kinds of help.

thanks to our volunteers who assisted with the tours in
